SYDHAVN TEATER is growing in tandem with the district. We are a theatre that has literally grown out of the neighbourhood and has evolved with almost cometary speed from a small project theatre to a district theatre in one of Copenhagen's new and wildly growing areas.

Sydhavn Theatre is deeply involved in its district, and we want to embrace diversity and seize the energy. We will be a melting pot for artistic innovation, and a theatre with experience in focus, which together with a new generation of performing artists from dance, performance and theatre will give space to other bodies and narratives, creating new experiences both on our stages and in urban spaces.
